The City of Fife acquired this 15 acre site along Hylebos Creek through county and federal grants. The property was developed as an important habitat restoration project. In addition to the grant from the Pierce County Conservation Futures Fund, additional funding was obtained from the Restoration Trustees through the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The city operates and maintain the park with the help of volunteer groups. The site is a great addition to Fife’s growing park system, providing our citizens a place to enjoy nature.
