Aquatic Center Programs
With backgrounds in yoga and fitness —and a passion for balance, nature and paddle boarding, our instructors relish every opportunity to guide students toward their yoga fitness goals.
Students should wear a swim suit with additional clothes they are comfortable practicing yoga in. Paddle boards are attached to the pool lane lines for extra stability, but participants should be prepared to get wet during the class.

Use the resistance and support of water to increase muscle strength, build endurance, alleviate joint pressure and decrease anxiety. You'll burn calories and have fun all while reducing your blood pressure. Everyone is welcome, so bring your friends, brother-in-law and/or grandkids for the work out!

FAST welcomes intermediate to advanced leveled swimmers.
Swimmers develop valuable, lifelong skills in teamwork, self-discipline, time management and traits that will help them in their paths to success.
Our coaches work hard at improving and encouraging top-level swimming technique and provide an environment that fosters healthy competition.

Take the Fife Splash Course Challenge and hurl yourself to greatness! Two giant inflatable obstacle courses will take over the Fife Aquatic Center, like Wipeout or American Ninja Warrior, allowing YOU to challenge your mind and body in a fun, unique and splash filled way. Each competitor will race against the clock to complete the ultimate aquatic obstacle course using all their speed, endurance, and swimming skills.
Each registration allows the participant to have UNLIMITED runs in the 2-hour time frame they register for. Participants will be sent off in 15 second increments. Anyone under the age of 7 and participants who wear a lifejacket MUST have an adult register with them.
- Flight 1: 4:30-6:30 p.m.
- Flight 2: 7-9 p.m.
Free from product bias, AFO course materials are updated as changes occur in the field to ensure the information covers the current trends and methods in the industry.
To ensure quality, AFO Instructors are subject to an application and training process before they are approved to present the AFO course curriculum. The minimum qualifications to become an AFO instructor are among the highest in the industry.
The AFO certification course features the most complete and comprehensive training available on pool operations. Upon successful completion of the AFO course and 50 question exam, participants will be certified by the National Recreation and Park Association. All certified individuals receive a certificate suitable for framing and will be added to the registry
in the National AFO Certification Database. Certification is valid for five years and is renewable. Don’t wait any longer, dive in and get your AFO certification today!
In order to earn the AFO certification, the aquatic professional must successfully pass the AFO certification exam. The AFO is an open book 50 question exam. Individuals who obtain the AFO credential are knowledgeable in the systematic approach to pool operations including pool chemistry, management, pool safety and risk reduction. The AFO certification is valid for five years. At the end of the five year certification period, the AFO certification must be renewed.
