Picking up or Dropping off Property
To release property, the inmate must fill out an inmate property release form prior to the property being released. Property will only be released at the inmate's request, and only to the person that is listed on the form.If you are picking up inmate property, you must provide valid and current ID. No property will be released to a person who does not have valid ID, or who is not listed on the property release form.
The Fife City Jail will not take anything to add to an inmate’s property. The only items the Fife Jail will accept, is medication and money for commissary.
If you are dropping of medication for an inmate it must be in its original container and be a current prescription. All medication must be approved by the Jail nurse before it will be dispensed.
If you are dropping off money for an inmate to purchase commissary, it must be in cash and no bills larger than twenty.
All other property will be released to the inmate when he is released or transferred from our facility.
