Fife Lunch Club
Nutritionally balanced meals are served. We celebrate Birthdays on the 3rd Wed. of each month! Meal reservations are appreciated one week in advance. You can call (253) 922-8368 or (253) 474-1200. Catholic Community Services provides the meal program.

Library Shuttle
We were spoiled while the Pierce County Library brought the books to us. We will be offering a shuttle ride to the new Fife Library on Mondays at 11 am. Bring your library cards and names of authors you like and to check out books with us. We will be back by lunch.

Painters Club
Interested in painting? Want to learn more about the amazing art? Kim Docter will be hosting this class on acrylic, Gongbi, oil paints and water colors. If you have any questions she will be glad to answer, suggest or help with your techniques. Please provide your own supplies. *Don't forget to bring some snacks or a lunch*

Child & Adult Immunizations
Free & low cost children immunizations will be available. Adult immunizations will be available through Multicare Good Samaritan Mobile Health Services. Health Checks will not be offered at the Fife Community Center any longer. Healthy checks will be offered 6 times a year in a central location.

Lunch and a Play
Join us as we head to the Old Spaghetti Factory and then off to the Tacoma Little Theatre for Footloose, the Musical. Ren, a teen from Chicago, is forced to move with his mother to a puritanical small town in Texas after his father abandons the family. To his shock, dancing and rock and roll are forbidden! He and his classmates want a senior prom. It doesn't take Ren long to shake up the status quo and soon the whole class is on their feet sending the town into a frenzy. This show will have everyone ready to join in as the cast dances across the stage! Lunch on your own.

Central Washington University Chimposium
Take this rare opportunity to learn about chimpanzees. You get a chance to go into a room where we can communicate with them through sign language, (behind glass), to see how truly amazing these animals are. Chimpanzee and Human Communication Institute, (CHCI), is home to the chimps Loulis, Tatu, and Dar, and is not open on a daily basis for entertainment purposes. However, CHCI believes that education is one of the most effective ways to save chimpanzees, and therefore offers educational programs to the public. A Day in Leavenworth
Travel east for a day of relaxing in the wonderful town of Leavenworth. This Bavarian village is filled with gift stores, restaurants and tasting rooms. Enjoy Art in the Park and the ambiance that comes with this mountain village. On your way home we will stop at Prey's fruit stand to stock up on fresh, local produce or to purchase a memento from the gift store. Lunch on your own.

Lunch at Alderbrook & Trip to Rosedale Gardens
Begin your day with a lovely lunch at the Alderbrook resort. "We admit it. We've sort of got a thing for good food and wine. With Alderbrook's culinary experience, we celebrate local offerings from the Pacific Northwest. Our restaurant menu showcases local seafood harvested from Puget Sound and the Hood Canal with savory creations like tiny sweet oysters or Dungeness crab cakes with red jalapeno sabayon... Mmm, a glass of Washington Sauvignon Blanc with that, please. Truth is, we're proud to serve you some of the best food and wine in the region." After lunch we'll travel to Rosedale Gardens where you'll experience the Art of Nature. Rosedale Gardens is a nursery, tour garden, and outdoor art gallery. Camp Wrinkle Ranch
Camp Wrinkle Ranch will once again take place at beautiful Falls Creek Retreat Center in Raymond, Washington. Join senior citizens from Pierce and King Counties for a fun filled 3 days and 2 nights enjoying a camp-like atmosphere with all the comforts of home. Falls Creek Retreat Center is located 35 miles west of Chehalis, Washington. The property includes 157 acres of forest, meadow, parks, streams and a beautiful waterfall. The facility has tastefully decorated rooms that include linens, two large hot tubs that serve 17-20 people each, an espresso bar, gift shop and ice cream shop. For recreation; the facility provides hiking trails, outdoor and indoor tennis, fishing pond (catch and release), ping-pong, gym for basketball and volleyball, two fire pits, horse shoes, a full size gym and much more. We will carry on the tradition of whiffle-ball golf and dingle ball as well as Wrinklympics. All meals are served family style, entertainment is provided each night around the campfire along with s'mores, and singing! This will be Fife's first time participating in this unique experience, but many centers have made this a tradition for years. Help start the tradition in Fife!
