Fife Lunch Club
Nutritionally balanced meals are served on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. We
celebrate Birthdays on the 3rd Wednesday of each month! Meal reservations are
appreciated one week in advance. You can call (253) 922-8368 or (253) 474-1200. Catholic Community Services provides the meal program.

Dominos

Our devoted pinochle group plays every Friday. Refreshments are provided.

Movie Wednesday’s
Join us the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month to enjoy a new release movie at the community center. At the beginning of the month we will have a list of all the new releases that will be coming out for the month and you will vote on which movie you would like to watch. We will make popcorn and have fun! Starting Sept. 8th.

Senior Line Dancing Class (Free!)
Come dance the afternoon away! This class is designed for BEGINNERS who want to have some fun and get some exercise. Join Thelma as she takes you through the very basic steps of line dancing. This is a continuation class so please come every Tuesday.

Tai Chi (Free!)

Senior’s Making Art
Gongbi is one of China’s earliest forms of painting. Traditionally, Gongbi paintings feature extravagant and detailed flowers and birds. Gongbi paintings are done on rice paper or silk with ink and/or colors. The effect is highly decorative. No class 11/11

Senior Potluck
Bring your favorite dish or dessert and learn about all the new classes, trips and activities we have planned for the fall season. You can meet the new art teacher and learn about what she has planned for the season.

Fit in Fife- Ages 55+
Walk with your friends and family to health weekly. Learn, explore and educate yourself in this opportunity to discover many surrounding trails located near you! If the weather is bad, we will head to one of our local malls. Please don’t forget proper walking shoes, water, and to dress for the weather. Download a Walking Trail Map.

Senior Art with Vonna
Pottery
Participants will learn to make both decorative and practical items such as bowls, vases, dishes and lamps. Participants will shape the clay, decorate and glaze, then fire ( Baking) their art work. Don’t miss out on the fun.

Senior Adult Trips

Mt. Rainier
We are off to experience the natural beauty of Mount Rainier. Get your camera’s ready for many beautiful photo opportunities, a picnic at Paradise and chances to get out and walk around.

Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium
Lions, Tigers and Bears…Oh My! We will see baby Tigers and Clouded Snow Leopards. The day at the zoo is packed with shows throughout the day, many places to walk, and so many animals to see! Grab your walking shoes and cameras. $5 for 65 and older and $20 for 64 & Under.

Dungeness Crab & Seafood
Here you’ll find our old-fashioned crab feed complete with large kettles of fresh crab, fresh organic corn and coleslaw. Eight of the finest local restaurants compliment the crab feed with more than 25 seafood dishes and great desserts. There will be wine tasting by award-winning local wineries, a beer garden, and music sponsored by Elwha River Casino & Jim’s Pharmacy.

Maris Farms Pumpkin Patch
Some of the activities include a 6 acre interactive corn maze, amazing goat walk, petting zoo and more! We will also have a chance to grab a wheelbarrow and head for the pumpkin patch. There will be lots you can buy while we are there: gourds, cornstalk bundles, carving kits. We will bring fixings to make some yummy sandwiches.

Pumpkin & Homemade Soup Party
Bring your pumpkin and we will have a party! We will supply carving tools, paints for painting your pumpkin, games and contests. We will also make a couple of homemade soups together! Bring a dessert to share.

Uptown Glassworks
Add a new decoration to your house, one that you created on your own! This is the first step in the process of enjoying Glass, both as an art form as well as a unique experience. No experience needed, and you come away with a piece of hand-blown glass!

Fantasy Lights
Join us as we travel to the 15th annual ‘Fantasy Lights at Spanaway Park’, the largest holiday drive-through display in the Northwest. This features nearly 300 elaborate displays and thousands of sparkling lights. The beautiful two-mile drive along Spanaway Lake is something to get you in the holiday spirit! Cost includes tour & small holiday treat. Dinner at Marizano’s by PLU to begin the trip!
