Fife Summer Day Camp- Where the Fundango Happens!
Provide your child with fun and safe activities in a supervised setting. Campers will enjoy field trips, games and art projects. All your child needs to bring is a sack lunch, water, snacks, bathing suit/towel, and a smile. We'll take care of the rest. Don't miss the fun!

Home on the Range Mary Olson Farm
Saddle up and come down the old dusty trail to the Wild Wild West. Campers will learn how to make butter, feed farm animals, visit an orchard, and use a cider press. Get ready to turn back the clock and see how Fife's Farms used to run, and if your house once was a farm?

A Global Excursion Museum of Flight
Campers pack your bags and get ready to travel the world! This week is about filling up your passport and constructing amazing structures from the places we will visit. During your excursion you will play games from other countries and learn some foreign language skills to make your travels easier. A few of the countries we will be taking flight to include Australia, Mexico and Italy.

Mad Scientists Messy Experiments (@ camp)
It is time to put your lab coats on and spend the week exploring and conducting hands-on scientific experiments. Not only will these experiments leave you messy, but excited to show your friends and family what you have learned. We will explore how science relates to our daily lives. It is a weird scientific world out there, so let's get dirty investigating how fun science is.

Ocean Commotion Fosswater Ways
Do you love the ocean and everything in it? We are off to the Fosswater Way Seaport to see, experience, touch and play in the Puget Sound. Campers will get the opportunity to build a toy boat, touch sea stars, and other sea life that are located in the Puget Sound. This educational week will leave campers excited about the marine creatures around us.

Spy Camp Fire and Police Station Tours
Some strange and fascinating things are happening at camp this week. We need campers to unleash their inner spy and help us solve some mysteries. We will have to create and find special cache's and secret messages to help in our adventure. We will learn from our local police officers and firemen, and our everyday real-life heroes. Get out your magnify glass and be ready to go undercover because we have unsolvable investigations. You will receive your mission at camp, should you choose to accept it.

Wipe Out! Stewart Heights Pool
Surf's up campers! Come join the Fife wave that will cause one bodacious splash! Get ready to be blasted with water activities that will challenge the mind and body. You're never too old or too cool to have fun...especially with water. We dare you to stay dry this week!

Out of this World Trampoline Nation
How high do you think you can jump? We will be defying gravity, exploring outer space, and testing our jumping skills all week. So get ready to blast out of this world.

Water World Kandle Park
It is a wet, watery world this week with slipping and sliding, swimming and soaking. Test the waters in the week-long investigation of all things liquid. Create water spray art, make your own tie-dye shirts and join us for some H20 challenges.

Sandlot Tacoma Rainiers
Be prepared to get in the game. Are you ready to take your game to the next level? Get ready to engage in athletic challenges and activities with fellow campers. Show your fans that you've got game! This week will be non-stop running, jumping, stretching and more. We may have to come up with our own sport. Campers beware this week is for the Sports Fan extreme.

Survival of the Fittest
Survivor & Double Dare (at camp)
Do you have what it takes to outlast and outwit your fellow campers? Join us as we learn important survival skills and test them out as teams compete in "Survivor" styled challenges. Get ready to get dirty in challenges filled with mud, slime, and games that have only one objective in mind, to make a MESS!

That's a Wrap! BBQ Lunch at the beach
It is time to say our farewells to summer this year. Camp will end with a bang playing our favorite games, getting some autographs, and taking pictures with our friends. We will enjoy a delicious BBQ Lunch at the beach.

Specialty Camps

Free Summer Playground Program
This program will offer lunch and an afternoon snack made possible by USDA. This free drop-in program provides the opportunity for kids to get creative with arts & crafts, play lots of games and sports, and visit with friends. This program is not to be used to substitute Child- Care or Day-Care services! Adult recreation staff will supervise the kids during activities but is NOT responsible for keeping track of children at the program or park site for the duration of the day; kids can come and go as they please. It is solely the responsibility of the parents, legal guardians and day-care providers to supervise their children to ensure their safety.

Junior Camp Counselors (Ages 14-16)
Do you want to gain work experience and have fun doing it? Join the Junior Counselor program and gain hands on experience, valuable career skills, complete a resume, and opportunities for leaning and leadership skills.

Music & Rhythm Camp- FREE!
(Ages 9-14)
Experience the variety and power of the rhythms of Brazil! Create your own tempo learning traditional and contemporary grooves like samba, baião, afoxé and Samba-Reggae while singing in Portuguese. You enjoy a hands-on experience, feeling the inner workings of Brazilian music in an intuitive and spontaneous way! You will also be creating your own rhythm

Lego Robotics Camp (5th-7th Grades)
Kids are invited to this week long, camp where they will learn basic engineering skills, as well as basic programming skills. Kids will work with Lego Mindstorms NXT Robotics kits and the Mindstorms programming language. During this week long adventure, students will learn to build a basic robot and program it to do simple tasks, such as moving forward and backward and to turn around corners. Kids will also learn to program the robot to navigate through a maze. Camp led by John Garrett, teacher at SMLS.

Adventure to Never Land Ballet Camp (Ages 3-5)
All you need is faith, trust and a little bit of pixy dust to get your dance on. We will be exploring our way through this camp; it will include a full-length ballet class, themed craft and games times. Each dancer will receive a tutu or a crown. Performance on the last day.

Arts through America- Free! (Ages 9-12)
Come sing, dance, play instruments, compose and record your own music with artist/teacher, Laura Dean! Explore the music and culture of Washington State, America, and Latin America through hands- on arts activities that weave together story, movement, music, culture, and history. This dynamic residency spans a wide variety of genres including classical repertoire, folk music, Broadway hits, and contemporary pop favorites. The week culminates in a casual and fun performance showcasing the participants. Laura Dean has been an artist/teacher in the Seattle area for 20 years; she is thrilled to be an artist in residence for the City of Fife this summer. Register soon, spots will fill up fast.
