The typical process flow for the applications submitted for job openings in Civil Service is as follows:
- When an application is received, it is initially reviewed for completeness. Incomplete applications are disqualified.
- Applications are accepted until the closing date.
- After the closing date, the Civil Service Secretary will review the applications and select those applicants to be contacted for an interview and/ or testing.
- Applicants selected for interviews and/ or testing will normally be notified within two weeks following the closing date noted on the position announcement.
- Applicants not notified during the two weeks following the closing date should assume that they were not selected to be interview and will not be considered further for the position.
- Due to the large number of applicants for most positions, unsuccessful applicants are generally not notified.
